John is one of those lifetime soldiers, he tried doing other activities in life but that wasn't for him. John was first in the Army and was stationed in the Philippines where he was a boxer. After leaving the Army he tried trucking, but he wanted back into the military and enlisted in the Marines. Basilone received the Medal of Honor, Navy Cross, Purple Heart Medal, and Combat Action Ribbon. John received his awards for manning his machine gun post while fighting Japanese forces in which he and two other men were left and held off forces for 48 hours. Basilone had a battleship named after him named USS Basilone, in which his widow sponsored.

Robert was the Second Lieutenant of the 172nd Infantry Regiment of the 43rd Infantry Division at the time he performed his actions to earn himself a Medal of Honor. Robert was defending an airstrip that his company had originally taken from Japanese defenders and the Japanese launched a counter-attack. Scott had became detached from his company and was now alone, he was wounded in his left hand and had shrapnel in his head he used his carbine and grenades to take out 28 Japanese forces which allowed his men to recapture the airstrip and hill.

Magda Goebbles was married to the Propganda Minister of Nazi Germany, Joesph Goebbles. She strongly supported Adolf Hitler. Magda and Hitler were very close friends. After realizing the second World War was ending, and not in Nazi Germany's favor, she and her husband poisoned her six children. Soon after, she and her husband committed suicide.

Maquis was a French Resistance group during WWII, they were a group of rural guerrilla fighters. Most members were men from the mountains who were avoiding German labor camps and service in the war.

Fritz Muller worked for the Germany Navy in World War II as a biologist. Even though he studied biology, he worked on gyroscope for the Navy. Gyroscopes are easily compared to compass. He supported Hitler with the idea of Darwinism, which is the evolution into a superior race.
