Dogs
Dogs were used as anti-tank weapons, in which they would carry a bomb underneath a tank and then the dog would retreat. The drop and retreat method failed so the Soviets started an impact detonation which would kill the dog in the process. The US trained dogs for this but never deployed the dogs.
